Promotion
FETAC actively promotes its awards and the quality of further education and training, nationally and internationally.
The promotion of awards is a legislative requirement. Since FETAC's establishment in 2001, FETAC has strongly promoted the:
- FETAC name and identity as the single national awarding body in Further Education and training and as the unifying 'hub' for the sector
- FETAC awards as part of the National Framework of Qualifications
- National Framework of Qualifications as being the key driver for recognition, progression and mobility for learners
- principle of robust quality assurance behind awards and provision/services associated with FETAC
Our key message remains focussed on the quality of awards and of further education and training in Ireland.
