Abbey College Ltd
Abbey College Ltd, a private provider registered with FETAC, has informed FETAC that it has ceased to trade with effect from 5 August 2011.
Protection for Learner arrangements only apply to learners who are enrolled with Abbey College Ltd on a programme of 3 or more months duration which leads to FETAC certification.
FETAC is aware that Abbey College Ltd also offered a number of other programmes certified by bodies other than FETAC. FETAC is not responsible for learners enrolled on any of these programmes and these learners are not covered by Protection for Learners arrangements.
Re-Assignment of Abbey College Ltd's FETAC Learners
FETAC has now completed the assignemnt of all Abbey College Ltd's learners covered by Protection for Learners arrangements. There will be no further assignments to alternative providers.

FETAC learners who have concerns relating to their personal visa arrangements should email studentreviewgroup@justice.ie, attaching proof of payment and details of the course on which you are enrolled.
FETAC certification period October 2011
FETAC has now completed its October 2011 certification process. Abbey College Ltd learners who participated in programmes leading to FETAC certification, and who were successful in achieving their certification, may collect their certificates at FETAC's offices at East Point Plaza, East Point Business Park, Dublin 3 on:
Monday 7 November 2011 between 10:00am - 12:00pm and 14:00pm - 16:00pm only
It is essential that anyone collecting a certificate should present evidence of identity, including their pps number.
