My FETAC Award

Congratulations you have achieved a FETAC award! Your award is your passport to opportunities personally, socially, in education, training and employment. 

Whether your award is a major award or a minor award, at any level from level 1–6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), your award certificate documents your achievements and is unique to you. It is an important record of your qualifications and your lifelong learning.

 

 FETAC Certificates
  • Certificates are awarded for the achievement of major awards, where learners achieve the national standard in a prescribed range and number of component areas.
  • Component Certificates are awarded for the achievement of individual blocks of learning, which can stand alone or build towards the achievement of a full certificate.
  • Special Purpose Certificates are awarded for the achievement of a group of prescribed blocks of learning, generally for specific, relatively narrow purposes.
  • Supplemental Certificates are awarded for the achievement of individual areas of learning that are additional to a previously achieved major award.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Misplaced or lost FETAC certificates

In the event of misplaced or lost FETAC certificates, FETAC is unable to issue a new or replacement certificate. However, it is possible to apply to FETAC for a Record of Awards, using the Application for Record of Awards form
