Providers offer education/training programmes to learners. Programmes are designed to met learner needs and to enable achievement of the FETAC awards standards and requirements. Programme design is the Providers responsibility according to quality assurance policies and procedures that have been agreed with FETAC. Programme design ensures that

award requirements and learning outcomes are met, as set out in Awards Specifications
comprehensive information is given to learners
assessment of the learners is consistent with the award requirements
the programme and associated services are systematically evaluated at provider level
