Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Registered providers are required under FETAC's Recognition of Prior Learning policy to facilitate learners to gain access to and exemptions from some programme requirements. Learners with valid prior learning should discuss their options with the provider when applying for a programme.
Registered providers who wish to offer full awards to learners on the basis of Recognition of Prior learning must have FETAC approval to do so. Interested providers must contact FETAC with an expression of interest in RPL for awards and attend a Briefing.
